US-based channel distributors will soon place orders for 15- and 17-inch LED-based LCD monitors with Ya Hsin Industrial with initial shipments of 5,000 units, according to today's Chinese-language Apple Daily. The shipments will commence in the second quarter of this year, noted the paper.

Ya Hsin declined to comment on the report
